A GO to Source port video recording being done on Source? What the heck Sudy? How dare thee (done deliberately) Splitting the load my friend.
Will try and balance my time between both games again. Source does need populating though as playing with 20-30 players maximum isn't fun :(. May have to try connecting to the Unloze server at a earlier time in the day to play with higher numbers.
With GO I will see if I have any more junk to upload ;), May also connect to GO servers later on.
romann fernandez basically go online or in the server browser and search for zombie escape servers. when you join you'll download all the stuff you need automatically . just make sure you go on a proper one because you can get viruses from some shady servers
You clearly know more about the map than I :D, absolutely no idea which track you are referring too, even if I did, I still wouldn't know the track name.
If the mapper decides not to post the information in the map or in the description of his upload to Gamebanana they can be incredibly difficult to find.
I have always preferred the game mechanics and the maps on Source, CS:GO though has well populated servers and I move around with the population.
When Source has 50+ players I'm more inclined to join in :).
Custom skins can negatively affect your fps depending on hardware. With my system I never noticed a dip in performance by adding custom content, this may well be a different story for weaker systems though.
As for smoother i have always felt Source to be the same either way.
ze_diddle will probably be recorded in full on CS:GO :(. With CS:GO built maps I would prefer to be recording them on CS:GO. I will also have to consider how long it will be take to be won and how quickly a port to Source happens. I have a recording of ze_diddle from beginning to end on the final stage (no test run) and we all died at the very end trying to fight the boss, dodge lazers and shoot the zombies :). Looks alot of fun, gotta admit.
With maps like ze_a_e_s_t_h_e_t_i_c I will record that one wherever I can capture it first, been out a while and CS:GO refuse to play it. Same with that Otakuroom, easier on GO as well. I have a stage 3 recording of Otakuroom on CS:GO with !stopsound as that map kills the frames, may upload that one soon, may also record some more footage of that map on Source too. A tiny bit more difficult, just need the server populated :(. 25-30 players isn't enough for recordings. 35 absolute minimum, 40+ active players the sweetspot.
