Jack Flank is spot on but her'es my rant - you have to have jobs for the useless pratts in life trying to make a name for themselves fixing things that aren't broken -- The Post Office was full of them when it existed in my working days!

I want to just create a desk top folder to put pictures in
Jackson Savvy (3 months ago)
Well, sir, then you can right click any open area of the desktop. Then hover you r mouse over "new" and click on "folder." Windows will put a new folder that you can rename on your desktop, and you can rename it anything you desire, sir.

Shortcut I needed is from EDGE! In IE, with a web page open.... I could drag and drop from the URL to the desktop... And automatically have a shortcut that would link to that web page!!! EDGE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT!!!
Jackson Savvy (8 months ago)
Check my other shortcut video, then create your shortcuts and set Edge as the default browser, my friend.

I cannot agree that Windows 10 has made it easier to make shortcuts to the desk top. Nothing could be easier than the way it was done previously. You say click on All Apps in the list that should show when you click on the Microsoft Logo in the bottom left corner of the desk top screen - unfortunately no such thing as All Apps appears in this list on my computer so please tell me what I can do to make shortcuts.
Jackson Savvy (9 months ago)

Hi. I just got this new HP windows 10 laptop from my family. I was trying to find the charms of Google and YouTube, but couldn't. I had to go and completely download Google then add on my desktop. I couldn't find it as a charm ,So How do I make google a charm? And how do I find YouTube and add it to the desktop then make it a charm too? Bonnie Peterson (1 year ago)
Thank you! A piece of cake!!!!!
Jackson Savvy (1 year ago)
Ms Bonnie, you should just connect the camera, or the storage device (such as an SD card) and once windows recognizes it, it should allow you to import or browse it as a storage drive. Your camera may also have a setting to use as ptp or mtp, something along those lines ma'am. When you first connect it make sure to check for updates on Windows 10 for any device drivers it may need to download for you. Hope you get it going!

What about saving a web page to desktop?
Scott H (1 year ago)
That's what I was looking for, thank you so much!
Jackson Savvy (1 year ago)
Good Suggestion for a Vid . . . In case you need some info now though, Lifehacker suggests "If you're on a desktop computer, saving a web page is dead simple. Just open up your browser, navigate to the page, and go to File > Save Page As. Save it as "Web Page, Complete" somewhere in your documents. You'll get an HTML file and a folder full of images and other data contained within-don't delete this. When you want to see the web page, just double-click on the HTML file and you should be able to see it just as it was when you saved it, whether you have a connection or not."

Jack flank is right! With Windows 7 to send something to the desktop NOTHING is easier than just right clicking on something and then clicking on send to desktop! You can't do that now! I am wanting to put various websites onto desktop and on to the taskbar and it seems there is no way of doing this! Simple or otherwise! With Windows 7 to put a page/website on to the taskbar all you needed to do was drag the window tab to the taskbar and it would attach! You can't do that now too! this fking awful Windows 10 that was dumped onto my computer WITHOUT MY PERMISSION is not only far more complicated and annoying but EVERYTHING ABOUT IT takes more steps and is a lot mot more awkward to do!THERE INSN'T A TUTORIAL VIDEO ON WHAT I WANT JUST SHIT ONES LIKE THIS ONE THAT DON'T TELL WHAT IS NEEDED!  I tried pinning the Tesco website to the start menu and NOTHING HAPPENED! I thought I would need to pin it to the start button first and then from there put it onto the desktop and the taskbar but from what I can tell/see/ IT CAN'T BE DONE! how is that easier than in Windows 7! Oh and THE ONLY WAY to get a favourites list to sow is to have to import it from windows 7/8 first! I kept putting websites and pages onto the favourites list but couldn't see it anywhere as it just was not appearing no matter what I clicked on until I imported the one I had on Windows 7! I AM SICK OF AND FED-UP WITH HAVING TO RELEARN THE FKING WHEEL EVERY TIME MICROSOFT BRING(S) OUT A NEW WINDOWS PROGRAMM/PACKAGE WHICH IS ALWAYS MADE TO BE MUCH, MUCH, MUCH WORSE THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE! WQITH THIS ONE THERE IS A VAST AMOUNT THAT CAN NOT BE DONE WHEREAS ON WINDOWS 7 IT COULD! AND IF IT CAN IT CERTAINLY IS NOT AS EASY TO DO IT!AND THESE ARE NOT THE ONLY ANNOYING, AGGRIEVATING PROBLEMS WITH THIS SHIT PACKAGE/PROGRAMME! THERE MANY OTHERS!
Jackson Savvy (1 year ago)
Bradley, rag on Microsoft all you want. Call my tutorial shit? It shows you how to make shortcuts in Windows 10. What do you need to know to not make my tutorial shit to you? I pinned the Tesco website just fine using the same methods mentioned in the other video you commented on of mine that is specifically for desktop website shortcuts
