Game Boy Advance Longplay [169] Megaman Battle Network

http://www.longplays.org Played by: xRavenXP This is a longplay of game Megaman Battle Network the first game in the Mega Man series to be an RPG. The story, however, takes place in a parallel dimension to the original series, the main character is a student called Lan Hikari. Mega Man Battle Network is the first game in the Mega Man series to be an RPG. The story, however, takes place in a parallel dimension to the original series, the main character is Lan Hikari. The Megaman Battle Network series develops in a town called ACDC Town (would be a reference to the band of the same name?), where people are carriers of a type of computer program with very advanced Artificial Intelligence and able to feel emotions, NetNavis. Your NetNavi is MegaMan.EXE and this universe and all are able to interact with the internet in many places, even in dog houses and unusual places. Early on already know who the enemy, an organization called the World Three (WWW), whose real goal is to destroy the world created by the Lan's grandfather, the Internet, and its leader is Dr. Wily. And Lan and Megaman.EXE will have to give jack in at several places to stop this threat. Battle Network is a very good game and that stands out from other RPGs to include a lot of strategy. The battlefield is divided into two areas of nine squares each, and you can move Megaman.EXE for his action area. Another innovative thing are the chips that help the NetNavi, giving more firepower. Each Navi is partner of an operator, as Roll.EXE belonging to Mayl (Lan best friend), Gutsman.EXE belonging to Dex, Protoman.EXE belonging to Chaud and others. A very innovative game, the entire video includes all the Power-Up and almost all Hp Memory (I believe i missed only one memory hp), and the vast majority of Chips and Navi Chips after many fights.

CGRundertow MEGA MAN: DR. WILY'S REVENGE for Game Boy Video Game Review

03:39
Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge, an action platformer developed and published in 1991 by Capcom for the Game Boy, re-released in 2011 for the 3DS Virtual Console. Super Fighting Robots get remade sometimes. In this case, four bosses from each of Mega Man and Mega Man 2 are stapled together to create this, the Blue Bomber's (well, rather, Gray-ish Bomber) first portable outing. It's the same classic gameplay that made the series a hit, but with the difficulty turned up to eleven and the colors turned down to two. This CGRundertow video gamed review features video gameplay footage of Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge for the 3DS Virtual Console and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ. I've played all the classic Mega Man games, but have yet to try the portables until now. Jack in to my Mega Man Battle Network Review! Subscribe: http://bit.ly/SubscribeThatOneVideoGamer About The Game: In the near future, the Net is connected to virtually everything--from computers to office water coolers. An evil group is bent on dominating the world by corrupting the Net with viruses. You play as Lan, a young hacker, who must stop this threat with the help of his virus-busting program (and best friend) Mega Man.exe. Lan can walk up to just about any object and either use it or get some interesting (and often funny) information about it. In fact, this kind of exploration is necessary, because there are Net jacks in the strangest places--even a doghouse. And while Mega Man.exe is deployed fighting viruses on the Net, you often have to go out and collect clues in the real world. This teamwork adds some refreshing complexity to the game. Mega Man IV (Game Boy) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

01:23:06
A playthrough of Capcom's 1993 platformer for the Nintendo Game Boy, Mega Man IV. Wow, Capcom really brought their A game to this one. Mega Man III was a fantastic recovery effort after the disappointing second entry, and this one tops it in just about every way. It's just hard enough without being frustrating, the attention to detail is outstanding, and the music could pass as NES music it's done so well - especially those brand new tracks near the end of the game. I really love the cutscenes as well - I think those might actually put this one above the NES games for its presentation, color be damned! Mega Man IV is a fantastic game - I'd recommend it to anyone who had even a passing interest in the series. *Side note: if you get four game overs on a stage, Dr. Light will interrupt upon continuing and give you an apparently powered-up mega buster. I don't notice any difference in the power, but still a neat little bonus. You'll see me die and get a game over at Toad Man's stage, but you'll only see that screen once - I cut the other continues out. Nobody really wanted to see me run to the nearest pit over and over through three continues, did they? :) *Recorded using the DMG shader in Retroarch for that crunchy retro look. _ No cheats were used during the recording of this video. Mega Man Xtreme (Game Boy Color) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

01:40:26
A playthrough of Capcom's 2000 action platformer for the Nintendo Game Boy Color, Mega Man Xtreme. This video shows the game finished in both normal and hard modes in order to show all of the robot master stages. Mega Man Xtreme - you have to love just how clearly the title gives away the time period in which this was produced. Finally, we were able to play Mega Man X while flipping between the X-Games and The X-Files on the TV, all while chugging on an Xtreme Gulp from 7-11. Mega Man Xtreme was an 8-bit "demake" of Mega Man X and X2, with a new/old plot that has X fighting the data of robots from the past. It's enough to drive the action, and doesn't veer too far at all from the original game. For as absurd as it seems to shoehorn these SNES classics into such limited hardware, Xtreme does what it set out to do, and does it admirably well. The style isn't like the original Gameboy game Mega Man games - the sprites are much smaller here, preserving the original game's sense of scale much more accurately. The trade-off is that sprites have far less detail, but they animate fluidly and are easily identifiable at a glance, and despite some simplifications, the stages all remain similar to the console games' ones. The sound holds up , as well. It couldn't have been easy adapting the rock-style soundtracks to a machine with four sound channels, but they're all here and still just as catchy in their rinky-dink PSG forms. The gameplay is the biggest surprise, though. Sure, fewer buttons means you're jumping into menus to switch weapons, but the controls are tight and the challenge is stiff. It actually feels like a MMX game! I loved Mega Man Xtreme. It's not the flashiest or most technically impressive GBC game you'll ever see, but there's a ton of quality gameplay packed into this cart. *Recorded using Retroarch LCD shaders for that dot-matrix look. _ No cheats were used during the recording of this video. CGR Undertow - MEGA MAN ZERO review for Game Boy Advance

03:18
Mega Man Zero review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Mega Man Zero (developed by Inti Creates, published by Capcom) for Nintendo Game Boy Advance, re-released as part of Mega Man Zero Collection for Nintendo DS. I make robots bleed. I learn their tricks and blow up their bretheren. I thought I had this down to a science. I was wrong. Dead, dead wrong. Mega Man Zero beat me up in ways I'd never even imagined. Sure, it felt like Mega Man X, or like a less touch-intensive form of Mega Man ZX, but it had a mean streak a mile wide and two miles thick. And there's three more of these to go? Better get some milk to wash down these cyber-elves, then. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mega Man Zero for Nintendo DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ. Mega Man V (Super Game Boy) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

01:34:25
A playthrough of Capcom's 1994 platformer for the Nintendo Game Boy, Mega Man V. I played this through the Super Game Boy adapter for the Super Nintendo, providing the tailored color schemes and screen border that (obviously) you'd never see playing it on the handheld. Mega Man V is a pretty good finish to the long-running Game Boy series. It's not quite as memorable or polished as III and IV, but it brings a lot of originality to the series, right at the point where it was beginning to stagnate. The most noticable change is that there are no longer "Robot Masters" all called ____ Man. They're all planet guardians now with some really odd powers - Salt Water, anyone? I don't like it as much as I do III and IV, but still, it's a fine game and worth any Mega Man fan's time. ____ No cheats were used during the recording of this video. Mega Man Gameboy 1-5 Dr Wily Music

09:53
Dr Wily music from every Gameboy Mega Man game! Not as easy to find, this is a collection of all the Dr Wily stage music from the Gameboy games, and they're just as good as the NES tracks. Mega Man 10 for the Wii has three special stages that were based on the actual Gameboy Wily levels, not to mention you fight the Gameboy robots Enker, Punk, and Ballade. The music from Special Stage 1 on the Wii is actually a remix of the first Wily track from the Gameboy. This video contains 6 tracks, plus an excerpt from a remix at the end. You can download the remix here: http://www.themmnetwork.com/wiki/index.php?title=Music_by_Yuu Rockman World 2 - Opening Theme by Phoenix Project / Yuu

[TAS] GB Mega Man V by Tremane & Mothrayas in 39:21.26

43:06
This is a tool-assisted speedrun. For more information, see http://tasvideos.org/3583M.html. TAS originally published on 2017-12-19. This is the final installment of classic Mega Man games on the Game Boy, and the first Super Game Boy Mega Man game. Unlike the four earlier Game Boy games which copied a lot from their NES counterparts, Mega Man V has all new enemies and bosses: you fight the Stardroids, robots from outer space named after the planets of the solar system (note that Pluto was considered a planet at the time). Unlike every other classic Mega Man game, Dr. Wily is not the final boss and our hero uses the Mega Arm instead of the Mega Buster. Tremane and Mothrayas (http://tasvideos.org/Mothrayas.html) improve the previous movie (http://tasvideos.org/2435M.html) by 41.83 seconds, thanks to overall better lag management, sub-pixel optimisation, as well as new tricks and strategy changes.

Game Boy Mega Man V Video Walkthrough

01:31:03
This is a video walkthrough / playthrough / runthrough / etc of the Game Boy game Mega Man V. This is essentially more of the same. You can start basically anywhere (so whichever boss you can kill with just the mega buster...Fist I guess this time around) and then go from there using the weapon you just got against the boss that's weak to it. However, unlike the other GB Mega Man games, this one has a bit more color to it, which is nice. This is also the last Game Boy Mega Man game I'll be doing. At least I'm pretty sure it is.... It's not a perfect run since I do get hit here and there. At least I don't die, so that to me is a plus and I'm happy with how things turned out in the end.

Game Boy Mega Man III Video Walkthrough

This is a video walkthrough / playthrough / runthrough / etc of the Game Boy game Mega Man 3. There isn't too much to say about this particular one. Once you defeat one boss, you go to the boss which is weak to the weapon you just got, etc... This is by no means a perfect runthorugh since I do get hit plenty of times, but I think I did a good job though...

Game Boy Color Longplay [011] Mega Man Xtreme

02:48:21
http://www.longplays.org Played By: Tarosan Mega Man Xtreme, known as Rockman X: Cyber Mission in Japan, is a video game developed by Capcom for the Game Boy Color handheld game console. It is a spin-off title in the Mega Man X series of video games and was followed by one direct sequel, Mega Man Xtreme 2. Chronologically, it takes place sometime between Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3. The game is a downgraded port of Mega Man X for the SNES, featuring levels, bosses and other elements borrowed from that game, along with some levels from Mega Man X2 and some new content (for instance, a new storyline). Controls were a bit clunky for this one, as a downgraded port though it's alright but not one of the best... excuse the multiple pauses though that was annoying to deal with.

Mega Man II (Game Boy) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

40:09
A playthrough of Nintendo's 1992 platformer for the Nintendo Game Boy, Mega Man II. This is the weak link in the Game Boy series in my opinion. It's not a bad game, but it's not on the same level as the other four games in the Rockman World series. It plays perfectly well with its tight controls and solid (albeit easy) level design. So what's wrong with it? The real travesty is the soundtrack. It had some really great stuff going for it... until it was put into the game. You can hear a lot of potential here, but it's painfully off-key and high pitched. Apparently the composer hand-scored the music and sent the hand-written sheet music to developer Biox, whose sound programmer seemingly failed to either: (A) attempt to learn how to read a key signature, or (B) possess the ability and/or work ethic to bother transposing the original composition to a range better suited to the Game Boy's sound limitations. If you imagine what Whitney Houston as performed by Rebecca Black would sound like, you have a good idea of how badly the music got butchered in this game. I highly recommend listening to RushJet1's re-imagining of the soundtrack, it's amazing. You can find it here: https://youtu.be/STmUaIEClmY *Recorded with the DMG shader in Retroarch for that classic green look.* This is a brand new playthrough to replace my original recording. I played much better this time, and the video quality is much improved! ______ No cheats were used during the recording of this video. Mega Man III (Game Boy) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

55:08
A playthrough of Capcom's 1992 platformer for the Nintendo Game Boy, Mega Man III. Mega Man III is an amazing step up from the Game Boy series' second entry, and despite being on Game Boy hardware, this release managed to achieve near parity with the quality of the NES titles. This "remix" (made up of pieces from MM3 and MM4 on the NES) has graphics that are surprisingly close to the originals with the animated backgrounds and large, detailed sprites, and the music doesn't lose much of anything in the transition. It's a fantastic game that sidesteps the pitfalls of Mega Man II, and it handily one-ups Dr. Wily's Revenge in just about every possible way. *Recorded using the DMG shader in Retroarch for that authentic look. _ No cheats were used during the recording of this video. Mega Man Zero (GBA) - Longplay

01:25:55
A longplay of Mega Man Zero. Mega Man Zero, known in Japan as Rockman Zero, is a video game developed by Inti Creates and published by Capcom for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) handheld game console. It the first installment in the Mega Man Zero series, the fifth series in Capcom's Mega Man video game franchise. It was released in Japan on April 26, 2002, and in North America and Europe later that year. Approximately a century after being sealed away in the Mega Man X series, Zero is awakened to help the Reploids who are being pursued by the government body, called Neo Arcadia. Unsure of who he is, Zero helps the band of Reploids, who in turn marvel at his skills. Ciel, a human who lives with the Reploids, explains that Neo Arcadia has begun destroying all Reploids due to a shortage on energy. X is revealed to be the leader of Neo Arcadia and Zero confronts X in battle. Finding that the "X" he defeats is only a mere copy, Zero destroys him and a huge explosion follows with Zero managing to escape. He finds himself in a desert as a group of Neo Arcadians surround him, ending the game.

ROR: Mega Man & Bass (SFC Vs. GBA) | A Critical Defense (feat. J's Reviews)

01:07:56
PLEASE WATCH IN FULL SCREEN 1080p60 FOR BEST RESULTS. Remake or Rebreak is back with the first ever collaboration on the segment! Mega Man and Bass is often considered one of the worst Mega Man games ever made, but after getting it on a reproduction cart this past April, I felt compelled to throw my own hat into the ring. Originally release only in Japan on the Super Famicom in 1998, the game was later rereleased internationally on the Game Boy Advance in 2002 and underwent some changes worth discussing. Seeing as the GBA rerelease is the only version most North Americans have played, it becomes especially important to know the differences between the two versions and stack them up against each other. Without further ado, this is the long anticipated (and long running) episode of Mega Man and Bass! Everyone go check out my friend and one of my favorite reviewers, J's Reviews: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOiqB1MjAZpaq4m8WIoqQAw Here's a link to our previous Quest 4 Booty collab review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ux4OalYr1ho Here's a link to J's excellent All Inclusive Mega Man X Retrospective: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMnjnoGqME4&list=PLVpPMdR6Ba_Rr0gOkNulXzAlvfCgXpC9- Check out Retropolis Zone's review of Mega Man X7: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeyosd7Rp3k Be sure to check out my other channels and Twitter: EPG Plays (Let's Plays and Streams): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwLQ5HiX4jPLifHVbFS0irw Unversed Cast (Podcast Channel): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaX0i-H5-gv-9PcU3MXhzWw Twitter: http://twitter.com/ExoParadigmGmr Game Mavericks (Legacy Let's Plays): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCICVDVEbHNJSKDHKbl7DbMg Remake or Rebreak Scores: 1- Rebreak: Fails to resurrect the same quality standard as the original due to incompetent design, technical failures, etc. A virtually worthless remake/port overall. 2- Re-Meh: Not as good as the original, but a relatively competent recreation that is still very playable. Additionally, a Re-Meh may not address the original's salient issues or fail to add anything meaningful. 3- Remake: As good or even slightly better than the original, but not necessarily worth playing if you already own that version. Typically adds some new content or fixes salient issues with the original. 4- Replace: A remake/port that changes, fixes, and adds so much that it renders the original virtually obsolete. A Replace not only faithfully recreates the original, but fixes most (if not all) of the original's issues and adds a sizable amount of new content.

Mega Man (Game Gear) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

31:04
A beginning to end playthrough of U.S. Gold's 1995 Sega Game Gear game, Mega Man. Played through on the hard difficulty level. Much better than most games that ever saw release by U.S. Gold, who is notorious for some heinously bad PC ports in the late 80s/early 90s, Megaman for the Game Gear is a mashup of bosses and stages from Megaman 4 and 5 for the NES. The graphics are super zoomed in, but they convincingly mimic the NES games' graphics (even if cheap hits and blind jumps are far more commonplace because of this). The sound is as faithfully reproduced as possible given the weak sound hardware shared between the Master System and the GG. The game runs much slower and is significantly easier, though, than any of its counterparts on the NES. It's also MUCH shorter, being only 8 stages long, but overall, it manages to capture the spirit of the series likely just as well as Minakuchi, the developer of Mega Man 1, and 3-5 on the Game Boy, could have. The Game Boy Mega Man games were excellent, and the sole Game Gear one sits right about on par with its monochromatic counterparts. It's nothing revolutionary, but it's well worth playing. *Recorded using LCD shaders through Retroarch* _____________________ No cheats were used during the recording of this video. Game Boy Color Longplay [018] Mega Man Xtreme 2

03:12:02
http://www.longplays.org Played by: Tarosan Mega Man Xtreme 2, known as Rockman X2 GBC: Soul Eraser in Japan, is a video game developed by Capcom for the Game Boy Color handheld game console. It is a spin-off title in the Mega Man X series and is a direct sequel to Mega Man Xtreme, released the previous year. Mega Man Xtreme 2 takes place during the 22nd century, between the events of Mega Man X3 and Mega Man X4. The DNA souls of robots known as "Reploids" all around the world are being stolen by pair of villains in order to create an army of undead "Mavericks". The "Maverick Hunters" Mega Man X and Zero quickly spring into action, now with the help of their young ally Iris. Mega Man Xtreme 2 is a similar take on the series action and platforming gameplay formula. The player may choose to play each of a series of stages as either protagonist, X or Zero. Defeating the stage's boss will earn that player character its special weapon. Critical reception for Mega Man Xtreme 2 was lightly positive. EXTRA COMMENT: Following on from the prior game and concluding another series, MMXtreme 2 takes a more original twist by adding new reploid villians and mixing up bosses from X1, X2 and X3 whilst item modification is a huge factor in this game, I did Zero Mode first so X would have a useful weapon in disposing of his boss, Xtreme Mode for this game is basically you play as X and Zero at the same time and you take on all 8 Mavericks, Berkana/Gareth AND making his appearance in the end of course is Sigma... interesting that both can't have the same weapon when you beat a Maverick.

Nintendo Files An Interesting Gameboy Patent And A Live Action Mega Man Movie Is Coming | News Wave

A patent was made public showing Nintendo's idea to produce a cell phone case that would add physical buttons to the front of a phone to play what we assume to be games released on the marketplace. It seems Nintendo may have more plans for the mobile space outside of the original games they are developing. Capcom announced in a press release that a Live Action Mega Man Movie is a real thing. Developed by Capcom, the series caught on so much with its rage-inducing difficulty and incredible soundtracks that they were able to not only create 9 other sequels to the classic formula - but also create dozens of other games in spin-off forms. Mega Man X for the SNES, Battle Network for the GBA, Legends for the PS1 - and this isn't even including the Gameboy remakes, PSP remakes (Powered Up especially) and everything else Mega Man related. He's even appeared in Smash Bros since then. And now Caddicarus is going to try and review all the classic series, at least, with the versions available on PC / PS4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch known as The Mega Man Legacy Collection, and then there's the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. In this part, he's only got a few games from the Legacy Collection 1 to go through and then the whole of the Legacy Collection 2! Mega Man 5, Mega Man 6, Mega Man 7, Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 are all covered in this video - let's hope we can conclude this series with Caddy still being alive. The game deals with Dr. Weil's reign over Neo Arcadia in which humans, who have been reduced to second-rate citizens, begin to escape in large numbers to the last known livable location on the planet, Area Zero, beginning a conflict between the two groups. The effects of this war eventually drive Zero and the Resistance to protect Area Zero and its inhabitants from Dr. Weil.[4] Mega Man Zero 4 has an average of 77% on Metacritic and GameRankings making it roughly the 85th best ranking Game Boy Advance title.
