You know how the old saying goes, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” It really couldn’t be more accurate! What’s considered attractive is totally different for everybody. And it’s not just about looks here either. Where we’re from can subconsciously influence our idea of beauty too! So what types of men attract women in different countries? It’s time to find out! TIMESTAMPS The U.S. 1:03 Brazil 2:03 India 3:00 Sweden 3:56 Turkey 4:52 Italy 5:50 South Korea 6:58 The U.K. 8:08 Greece 9:08 Australia 10:03 Music: Take_You_Home_Tonight https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music Preview photo credit: Chris Pratt in Jurassic World (2015): By Capital Pictures/EAST NEWS, https://www.eastnews.ru/pictures/picture/id/34683802/i/0/t/0 bts.bighitofficial #BTS #YOU_NEVER_WALK_ALONE Concept Photo 1: By Big Hit Entertainment https://www.instagram.com/bts.bighitofficial, https://www.instagram.com/p/BP-Sal-DLJS/?taken-by=bts.bighitofficial Animation is created by Bright Side. #bts #jimin #malebeauty SUMMARY -Rough-looking men with a burly physique are starting to get just as much attention as clean-cut sporty type in the US. There’s even a special term to describe these lady-magnets: “lumbersexuals.” -Brazilian women seem to go for guys with light eyes and fair curls. And don’t forget about that six-pack; impressive muscles are always a plus. -It's usually well-groomed and moderately muscular men that melt Indian women's hearts. -Swedish beauty concept is all about men with sometimes extremely slender physiques and a trace of sadness in their eyes. -Handsome Turkish guys are usually very well-groomed and take their hair styling seriously. But to really please the ladies, their chest hair needs to be mercilessly removed. -An Italian hunk is always fresh and stylishly dressed. He isn’t afraid of bright-colored clothes and jewelry. -Hotties in South Korea have baby-smooth skin, fashionably cut and often brightly-dyed hair, and a slender or sometimes even fragile physique. -People in the U.K. have naturally fair skin, and some men often try to remedy this situation by using self-tanners. It's also very common for British lads to have tattoos. -In Greece, if you have dark or mildly silver-streaked hair, a deep gaze, a slim and tanned body, and the all-so famous Greek profile, that's a winning combination for you. -Guys in Australia can spend hours in the gym trying to buff up, and the ladies certainly appreciate their efforts. 5 Ways Steven Universe Was Changed In Other Countries

06:24
This popular Cartoon Network show looks very different in other parts of the world! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6 Steven Universe is a popular American animated series that was the first cartoon to be created solely by a woman for Cartoon Network. The woman in question, Maryland's own Rebecca Sugar, based the lead character - a half-alien boy who lives with the Crystal Gems (magical, humanoid aliens named Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst) in the fictional town of Beach City - on her younger brother Steven, who just so happens to be an artist on the series. The show follows the titular character's adventures as he and his friends attempt to protect the world. The show is, of course, aimed mainly at kids, so it's largely inoffensive, but that didn't stop certain parts of the world (the Middle East, the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe, for example) from censoring certain aspects of it - and that's what this video's all about. Some of the things in the show that have been changed around the world include; dialogue in the show has been altered to be less offensive, signage in the show has been altered to be less offensive, the violence in the show has been watered-down considerably, anything deemed to be homosexual has been edited out (yes, really, in 2018!), and some scenes have been cut short (with some entire episodes not getting aired). We hope you enjoy the video! Please leave a comment letting us know what you thought about it. And don't forget to subscribe to Screen Rant's YouTube channel, so you never miss our great new video uploads in the future. Featuring: 1. Altered dialogue 2. Altered signage 3. Watered-down violence 4. Homophobia 5. Snipped scenes (and episodes!) Never Do These Things in Foreign Countries

10:13
If you don’t want to be in one of those, or better yet featured on YouTube as “that crazy tourist,” fined or even arrested, pay attention to our list of do’s and don’ts accurate in different countries of the world. “So many countries, so many customs.” Any jet-setter will agree this good old proverb is true. In the age of globalization, going places has become an essential part of our life. We’re all well aware of the fact that while visiting a foreign country, we must obey certain local traditions and common rules. Failing to do so has given a rich ground for many jokes. TIMESTAMPS Russia 0:54 Chile 1:44 Singapore 2:18 India 3:05 Japan 3:29 Mexico 4:07 New Zealand 4:39 Norway 5:25 Turkey 5:49 United Kingdom 6:29 Ireland 7:03 Germany 7:35 Kenya 8:26 Malaysia 9:16 Korea 9:35 SUMMARY - If you want to surprise your Russian girlfriend or your business partner, never give an even number of flowers as a gift. Even numbers of flowers are for grieving and funerals. - Manners matter more to the people of Chile than to other South Americans. It is extremely important not to eat anything with your fingers. - Chewing gum, for example, is banned in Singapore, so you’d better leave it at home before getting on the plane. If you break the gum rule for the first time, you may be fined for up to a $1000. - When in India, you have to keep your private life to yourself and your emotions under control. No matter how much you want to show affection to your special someone, never kiss them in public. - Similar to India, public demonstration of affection is not acceptable in Japan. Remember, there is no hugging, or even worse, kissing, in public! - A good piece of advice will be to stay as thick skinned as possible since Mexicans love making jokes and never miss a chance to do so. Don’t take things too personally. - Remember the difference between “aussies” and “kiwis.” Never mix them up! In case you didn’t know: the “aussies” stand for Australians, and the “kiwis” – for New Zealanders. - When in Norway, don’t ask questions concerning church. This may be taken for disrespect. Many people here don’t attend church, and those who do will want to keep it to themselves. - An essential thing to remember before going to Turkey is not to give anyone the OK sign. It might seem like a sign of approval to you but is considered an obscene gesture for the Turks. - British people like their pudding fresh and their queues well-organized. Don’t jump the queue. Or expect to be judged by the locals. - Do not try to play it cool and sound like Irishmen. For Irish people there is no such a thing as Irish accent; they recognize and divide accents depending on the region of Ireland they come from. - Don’t stare at people. Germans might look very attractive but try to resist the temptation of staring at Fraus on the metro. Only poorly educated and crazy people do that here. - Don’t show disrespect for religion. No matter what their religion may be, Kenyans are very devout. - For Malaysians, this is “the home of the soul” and the most sacred part of the body. Keep yourself from running your fingers through people’s hair, especially babies. - If you want to have good manners in Korea, use two hands when handing over money. When you pay for things, pass on your cash or credit card with both hands. It’s a sign of respect. Do you know any other things that are prohibited in foreign countries? How Tall Are People From Different Countries?

11:03
Which country's people are the tallest? In fact, we’re so different that we’ve created gender and racial constructs, generational lines, and map borders to make these differences more distinct. One of the most easily distinguished physical differences among human beings is height, which ranges from as small as 2’ 2-1/2” to as tall as 8’ 3” across the board. Ever wonder what the average height for each country in the world is? Then watch our new video! TIMESTAMPS: Why our ancestors were shorter than we are 2:04 How tall were ancient people 2:49 Why tall people have an increased risk for developing cancer 3:50 Where the tallest men in the world come from 4:44 Where live the shortest men and women 5:34 A comparison of average adult heights worldwide 7:20 #ancientpeople #tallestpeople #adultheight Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - Our early hominin ancestors lived in conditions very different from ours, though. They first emerged in the Lower Paleolithic Era as early as 3.5 million years ago when their environment was recovering from an ice age that produced a drier climate on the savannas of East Africa. - The australopithecines were still small and ape-like, though, only growing to about 3’ 11” for females and 4’ 7” for males on average. - On average, taller people also tend to have higher salaries and higher levels of education. However, these extra inches also come with downsides, including an increased risk for developing certain cancers. - The tallest women are from Latvia, the Netherlands, Estonia, and the Czech Republic. And it looks like Dutch and Danish men have been trying to outgrow each other! - The shortest men and women in the world are the Pygmies of the Congo, and they only grow to an average of 4’ 5” and 4’ 1” respectively. - Men in the Netherlands, as we said, have grown to an average height of 6’, while women in that country measure in at 5’ 7”. - American men average 5’ 9”, whereas American women average 5’ 4”. - Indian men also grow to an average of 5’ 5”, but Indian women only get to about 5’ even. - Canadians are about as tall as Americans, with the men coming to 5’ 9” and the women coming to 5’ 5”. - Russian men are also pretty tall, with their average height coming to about 5’ 10”; Russian women grow to an average of about 5’ 4”. - Spanish and Argentinian men and women come out to an average of 5’ 8” and 5’ 3”, while Mexican men and women grow to about 5’ 7” and 5’ 1”. - Egyptian men come to an average of about 5’ 7” — that sure is a popular height, right? — and Egyptian women come to an average of about 5’ 3”. What If You Couldn't Buy Things From Other Countries?

05:13
What if the world stopped trading? What if the US decided to stop trading with the world? What would happen? Unless you live in North Korea you’re probably reliant on international trade in one way or another (NAFTA, ETC). Possibly the food you ate today is farmed or grown overseas. The pen you used to write the shopping list to buy the food you ate was probably manufactured overseas. Your mobile phone or laptop was almost certainly made overseas. The specific parts to that laptop were probably made in different countries. Your car will have had its parts made all over the world before being assembled. We live in a world reliant on overseas trade. But what would happen if countries decided to stop trading with one another? Would society grind to a halt? Would we all become self-sufficient within our own nations? That’s what we’ll find out today on the Infographics Show as we ask – What if World Trade Stops? What Will Happen? 10 Popular Foods In OTHER Countries

Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg For copyright matters please contact us at: david.f@valnetinc.com Everyone’s taste buds are different. If you were born in America, chances are that a lot of your favorite foods are based on the Western model: burgers, fries, pizza, potatoes, and whatnot. But if you resided on the other side of the world, your tastes would probably be totally different. In Japan, rice, fish, and noodles are popular choices. Food, like so much of what makes us who we are, is dependent on the culture in which we were raised. Nobody chooses where they were born, so it’s completely random why we like the things that we like. Thankfully, the world’s like a giant buffet, and we’re lucky enough to be able to eat whatever we want. We don't have to stick to the diet that we were born with. 10 Normal Foods That Are BANNED In Other Countries

13:34
Popular food you cannot find in other countries. Subscribe: https://goo.gl/cv6b96 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meat, milk, cereal, and fruit are products Americans consume on a regular basis. But did you know that some of these products are completely banned in other countries? They contain substances and chemicals that might be approved by the FDA, but are illegal by any other food administration. Let’s explore 10 foods banned in other countries! Let’s start with artificial dyes. You probably know that M&Ms and other sweets contain artificial dyes that contribute to the product’s color and make it more appealing. But those dyes have been banned in Europe and many other countries around the world and replaced with natural dyes as they contain several harmful substances! Wild salmon is considered as one of the healthiest foods with plenty of nutritional benefits. But did you know that many countries banned farm-raised salmon? Wait until you hear just how harmful salmon is for the environment and why it’s been banned in Australia as well as New Zealand! We often hear about zero-calorie chips which are considered healthy. It’s due to a fat substitute called Olestra. But this substitute seems to have negative effects on our health! While it removes fat from products, it actually stops the body from receiving some of the most essential vitamins and nutrients, which is why it was banned in Canada and Europe. Do you consume meat, Rice Krispies, sports drinks, calorie-free snacks, fruit, or GMO food? All of those have been banned from countries around the world because they include harmful substances that have negative effects on your health! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheThingscom/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.thethings.com/

And while some doctors work in hospitals, others, like a real team of superheroes, rush to help others through the streets of big cities. But, unfortunately, paramedics have to fight not only the diseases of their patients, but also with road traffic. In today's video, we have several examples of how drivers in different countries react to an ambulance. Of course, each of these videos may well be exceptions to the rule, but you should still see them.

10 Shocking Weddings Other Countries Allowed

06:48
top 10 strangest marriages in other cultures Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg For copyright matters please contact us at: david.f@valnetinc.com As we grow up, we often dream about our wedding day. Daydreams of that special day often replicate a fairytale wedding with proud guests looking on and romance fills the air. For many, weddings are a time to celebrate the union of two people in love. A traditional wedding includes a white gown, bridesmaids, a groom, groomsmen, something borrowed, something blue, cake, flowers, etc. These days, some weddings even feature two brides or two grooms. But overall, they remain traditional. In other parts of the world, weddings are celebrated a bit differently with variations of similar customs. But in some cultures, there are weddings that are just downright bizarre and go against social norms when it comes to tying the knot. While most people are open-minded about what other cultures do for weddings, there are some practices that just plain bizarre no matter where you live on this planet. In this video are ten bizarre weddings in other cultures. If there’s a wedding here that originates from your part of the world, you should look into it and see if the ceremony is being replicated! It’s hard to gauge why a couple would want to have a bizarre wedding, but we can guess. Sometimes it’s just for press coverage while other couples want to have a truly unique experience that’s different from what their friends and family are doing. The quest for being different often has weird results, and it is sometimes hard to see the motive behind the execution. 16 Crazy Things That Are Considered Normal In Other Countries

13:44
Every country has its own laws, traditions, rules, and specific features that might seem strange and even shocking to the people of other cultures. For example, did you know that women in India can marry a tree? And it’s not because they are crazy about nature. Or that in South Korea babies are considered to be one year old at birth? Or that Australia fines its citizens that don’t show up to elections? Our world is amazing and unique and that’s what Bright Side keeps reminding our readers. The following 16 facts confirm this statement. TIMESTAMPS: Some women in India marry trees 0:53 Sundanese people in Indonesia sometimes use banana leaves instead of plates 2:02 There is a cult of live Kumari goddesses in Nepal and it is made up of little girls 2:44 People in Israel build temporary dwellings called sukkahs in order to live there during the celebration of Sukkot 3:41 Newborn babies in South Korea are considered to be one year old 4:23 A metro passes through a block of apartments in China 5:17 Fast food restaurants in the Philippines sell huge portions 5:54 A whole family can fit on one motorcycle in Pakistan 6:32 Egyptians have a completely different concept of traffic rules 7:02 People in Italy arrange battles of oranges 7:35 Residents of Great Britain need to buy a separate TV license for each TV set at home 8:37 There is a church tax in Germany 9:32 People in Australia are fined for not voting 10:29 In Canada, milk is sold in transparent plastic bags 11:07 There are a group of female wrestlers that wear colorful clothes in Bolivia 11:32 There is a special ’instrument of education’ called la chancla that moms in Mexico and other Spanish speaking countries use 12:35 #factaboutcountries #traditions #worldrules Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - After the ceremony, the tree is cut and burned and the woman is then allowed to marry a man. - People from completely different social positions can eat from one leaf: a taxi driver, a governor, an unemployed person, a teacher, the mayor of the city, etc. - People in Nepal believe that the Hindu goddess Taleju has an earthly incarnation in little girls whose bodies she sometimes possesses. - One should spend as much time as possible in a sukkah during the week of celebrations — eat there, rest there, and pray there. If living there is not an option, having meals in a sukkah twice a day is obligatory. - Newborn babies in South Korea and in some other countries are considered one year old. Additionally, it’s believed that a person becomes one year older not on their birthday (though that is celebrated too) but on the first day of the Lunar New Year. - There is an extremely atypical architectural solution that you can see in the Chinese city of Chongqing — the Liziba monorail train station is located inside a residential building. - Don’t get surprised if you see a portion of French fries for 6 people on the McDonald’s menu in the Philippines. - You can drive any way you want in Egypt and it’s unlikely that your driving license will be revoked. Of course, this type of driving creates traffic jams, emergency situations, and many dangers for commuters that are on bikes or walking. - Every year, in February or at the beginning of March, the Carnevale d’Ivrea is held involving the traditional battle of oranges. People throw oranges at each other like snowballs. - Kirchensteuer — is a church tax that is imposed on the parishioners of some religious communities in Germany. Roman Catholic churches, Evangelical churches, a unitary religious society of free Protestants, and Jewish communities are among them. - Australia is one country where people are required to pay a fine for not participating in the election. The fine is not huge, but still, it’s a penalty. - The idea of recruiting a number of simple Bolivian women to participate in wrestling competitions belonged to Juan Mamani, the manager of a team called the Titans of the Ring. Every single one of these women knows how it feels to struggle and overcome their obstacles - making them the perfect role models for younger generations. Despite the fact that Disney has made it their goal to make their princesses more diverse, there’s still a long ways to go. With this in mind, a great number of artists have contributed to reamaginating our princesses from different parts of the world. Walt Disney might have created the princesses we all know and love today, but truth is that most of their original stories come from elsewhere. In fact, the majority of Disney Princesses were inspired by foreign fables that made their way across the globe. The speech made by Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 2 featured a spinning globe and fireworks instead of the American flag. The broccoli her father tried to feed her when she was a kid was changed to a green pepper in the Japanese version. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End featured a lot less of Chinese actor Chow Yun-Fat in their version of the movie. In Zootopia, different animals played the newscasters depending on which country the movie would be played in. Prior to Steven Spielberg’s 2012 release of Lincoln, there was a brief history lesson to inform people from other countries who Abraham Lincoln was and what he did for our nation. In Stanley Kubrick’s, The Shining, the manuscript that Jack Torrance was writing was changed with sayings from all over the world depending on where it was played. 14 International Movie Posters That Are Very Different From The U.S. Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6 One of the most important parts of marketing a film is the posters. These single images capture our attention and intrigue us enough to go out and watch these films. Sometimes, posters become as iconic as the movies themselves. But did you know that posters look very different in other parts of the world? Whether it is for censorship reason or emphasizing other elements that appeal to different audiences, it is interesting to see what changes within each country. The poster for Disney’s Frozen is pretty iconic in America. It is blue and features the title in big letters. Just under it, Olaf holds his own head, with 4 of the main characters buried in snow. In Japan, the poster is a little closer to what the story actually is. Similarly, the poster for Big Hero 6 in America features a cute character. In Japan, we see a glimpse into the actual movie and the heroes that are in it. Want to know what else made our list? Watch out video and find out. How the World Map Looks Wildly Different Than You Think

06:20
All of us have seen a world map at some point in our lives before, but it is very difficult to imagine how certain countries and parts of the world compare to each other in size that are far apart. In this video, I explore why the world looks very different than how it is portrayed in the Mercator Projection map. I then go on to explore how certain countries are unexpectedly larger or smaller than what they appear to be, and how some places looks wildly different than our perceptions. PS; Don't totally hate on the Mercator Projection, it's actually a really useful map for navigation and on keeping the correct shape of countries while sacrificing the size that we can all laugh about! After all, only adults have to worry about working and paying taxes. Yet, as we grow up we all sort of have a job – and it’s called school. We wake up early, head off to the bus stop and endure a day of various classes, lunchtime and homework. Then we repeat the same process all over again. If you went to a typical American school then the rules were pretty simple. Don’t be late, take your hat off in class, have your homework done – these are the sorts of typical rules we all followed. But, did you ever stop to ponder the fact that schools in different countries around the globe all have their own sets of regulations and rules? Believe us, some of them can seem pretty strange when we compare them to a typical American school. From the land of the rising sun, Japan, to America’s northern neighbor, Canada, we’ve scouted the school systems and collected what are definitely unusual rules for school kids to follow. 10 Things Americans Do That Confuse All Other Countries

11:42
How to avoid some awkward situations abroad? The US is home to some customs that are very confusing to foreigners. Do you know which habits you should leave in the US before heading out on your travels? Check out this list of things Americans do that confuse the rest of the world. Timestamps: No metric system 1:04 Customizing restaurant orders 2:30 Vacation time 3:15 Can I get a to-go box, please? 4:42 Tipping 5:53 Alcohol laws 6:35 Variety of goods 7:13 Thumbs up 8:15 Being extremely patriotic 9:06 Sales tax 9:59 #americanfood #americanrules #newyork Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music Summary: - The rest of the world is familiar with meters for measurements, kilograms for weight, liters for volume, and Celsius for temperature. But not the US! Only 3 countries in the world still use the imperial system of measurements: Myanmar, Liberia, and the US. - In America, it’s customary to request substitutions, additions, or changes to a menu order. But some foreign cultures that take great pride in their cuisine might consider it impolite if an American wanted to make substitutions, order a different sauce, or ask for an item to be left out of a dish. - Americans have very little time off compared to the rest of the world. 30% of American workers have 5 to 9 days off annually, 38% have 10 to 14 days, and 16% have 15 to 19 days. 8% have less than 5 days, and a lucky 2% have over 24 days. This means that the vast majority of Americans only have 10 to 14 days of vacation. Since there’s no law in the US to say that vacation time is mandatory, one out of every 4 Americans doesn’t get a single day off work. - A common American custom is to ask for a to-go box for their leftovers. However, if you do this in a foreign country, it might be frowned upon. - In America, given that waiters earn a small wage, it is customary to leave a 15%–20% tip. In Europe and most Asian countries, the service charge for restaurant dining is already included in the bill. Tipping in countries like China and Japan is practically nonexistent. - Most countries in the world have a legal drinking age of 18 or 19 years old. The US, along with countries like Sri Lanka, Samoa, and Kuwait, has a legal drinking age of 21. - Foreigners are amazed by the variety of goods sold in American supermarkets and pharmacies. Foreign supermarkets are mostly designed to offer food and a few home necessities. American superstores like Walmart offer a huge selection of food, furniture, car items, home improvement tools, and clothing. - Americans might think that giving someone the thumbs up is a universally positive sign, meaning “Well done!” or “Everything’s good!” But don’t use this gesture in Australia, Greece, or the Middle East as it's a rude way of telling someone to get lost. You might think that pointing at something is OK, but not in China! That gesture is considered to be very rude. - A lot of foreign countries reserve the use of their national flag for official government buildings. But in the US, you see the flag everywhere. - An aspect that confuses most foreigners visiting the United States is sales tax. They might be confused when they take an item to the register only to find out that it costs more than advertised. In Europe, sales tax is already added to the price displayed on the price tag; in the US, it gets added at the register. 10 Animated Movies That Were Changed In Other Countries

It takes years for them to be produced, thanks largely in part to how long it takes the render and animate the scenes. But then the animators of these films actually take the time to tweak certain scenes for different regions around the world. Case in point, the rousing speech Buzz gives the other toys in Toy Story 2 is set to the American flag and anthem in the U.S. version, but is changed everywhere else in the world. Rochelle in Planes is Canadian in North America but her nationality, name and paint job differ depending where else you watch it. In a similar move, the news anchors in Zootopia are different and representative of the country in question. Language barriers are always an issue for countries that don’t speak or read English, so animators actually alter any scenes that have prominent English in them. Monsters University altered some colorful cupcakes and changed a “scary” banner to use symbols at one of the games. In Ratatouille, which is set in France, the English language was removed from a letter and other texts and swapped to French. In Up, the words “Paradise Falls” mean nothing if you can’t read them. So the animators fixed that. Wreck it Ralph has a background character unique to Japan, despite the original version of the character being a homage to a great Japanese filmmaker. Inside Out made a few changes as well, from a simple vegetable swap to changing an entire scene for the sake of sports.

5 CARTOONS THAT LOOK DIFFERENT IN OTHER COUNTRIES On the last decades, the art of computer animated films is getting better and better. Animated films are more beautiful, more complicated and of a higher quality. Nowadays, each little detail is important: some of you probably remember the famous headphone mistake that was so commented on the internet a couple of years ago and it was finally done right! But in several countries, some famous scenes from different animated films look quite different from the way they look in other countries. You might not know this, but people working in animated films love their work and their audience, and sometimes change their films to include some important aspects for this or that culture. So, here are 5 animated films that look different in other countries.

Ancient Indigo-Dye Fabric Coloring Discovered In Other Parts of the World

00:56
An old strand of blue yarn from a 6,000 year old patch of woven cotton excavated in Peru, holds evidence of the oldest colorfast dye, known as indigo blue, in the world. Chemical analyses of the fabric discovered at Huaca Prieta, an ancient site on Peru’s northern coast, shows evidence of indigo dye used in cotton, 1,600 years before fabric coloring even showed up in Egypt. According to Jeffrey Splitstoser, archeologist of George Washington University, blue dye in ancient cotton patches at Huaca Prieta most likely came from an indigo-producing plant native to South America. Splitoser said, “What surprises me is that the indigo dye process was discovered at all and developed independently so early in multiple parts of the world.” https://www.sciencenews.org/article/oldest-indigo-dyed-fabric-found http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com

Leftists have raised questions against the arrest and sedition charge against JNU students. 27 years ago students of China protested against their communist government. China government suppressed the movement through army tanks. On the other hand, America didn't take any stringent steps when their students were protesting against the country during Vietnam war. 3 Why do tortoises look different in different parts of the world

04:29
Just So Darwin Why do tortoises look different in different parts of the world? Animation describing how different tortoises have developed different characteristics. Sam, a young tortoise, asks Grandad Charlie if tortoises all look the same. Grandad Charlie tells Sam why some tortoises look different. Long ago, tortoises living on an island with plenty of food all looked the same. Sometimes tortoises went to different islands where food was scarce and higher up from the ground, so it was more difficult for them to reach. After a long time, some tortoises were born with longer legs and necks, allowing them to feed more easily. Some had shells which were a different shape to allow them to stretch upwards. These tortoises survived the best. On other islands, there was plenty of food and water and no predators, so tortoises here could grow very large. Some of their young were born bigger and over many generations they became giant tortoises.

The reason for that is to exploit the original version of the movies success while making an adaptation to better suit a particular countrys audience. Examples in the United States include movies like The Ring, which is a Hollywood remake of the Japanese horror movie Ringu, The Grudge, which is a Hollywood remake of the Japanese horror movie Ju-on, and Let Me In, which is a Hollywood remake of the Swedish horror movie Let the Right One In. But its no surprise that the reverse also happens on an even more regular basis. An incredibly large number of Hollywood movies have been copied around the world, in countless countries in various continents. Sometimes they get credited as remakes, other times theyre just blatant copies that arent so above board. Thats what this video is all about - and while most of these movies were always likely to be copied, you might be surprised about some of them. Well look at foreign copies of Disneys incredibly popular 2013 animation Frozen, 2001s underappreciated drama I Am Sam, 2000s brilliant psychological thriller Memento, 2003s hilarious comedy Bruce Almighty, 1954s classic musical offering Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, 1992s superb Western Unforgiven, 1990s memorable romantic fantasy Ghost, 1966s classic Spaghetti Western The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, 2004s subtle black comedy Sideways and 2000s romantic fantasy comedy What Women Want. In summary, in this video, youll be seeing ten extremely popular movies that were copied in other countries.
