CS:GO - P2000 VS USP-S

03:15
Which would win in a fight? Depends on the situation, of course, but I prefer the sound of the USP-S, which is obviously the most important thing... 0:00 - Intro 0:10 - Ammo capacity 0:16 - Damage and accuracy 0:44 - Accuracy comparison (pictures) 1:18 - Suppressor removed - differences 1:34 - Fire-rate (Inconclusive) 1:48 - Penetration 1:56 - Noise 2:11 - My conclusion 2:21 - Low ammo comments 2:45 - Length of gun Summarised: P2000 - More ammo - One extra shot per clip - No silencer distraction - Shorter weapon (Can't be seen around corners as much) USP-S - Quieter - More accurate - Looks awesome You decide. CS:GO - Knife tactics

03:27
UPDATE: without armour you can kill people with a single primary and secondary attack, since instead of 34 and 55 damage, you do 40 and 65 instead. I apologise for getting probably the most important bit of this video wrong, but in my defence the only difference this will make will be in competitive mode during the pistol round and you're probably best off just thinking that they're wearing armour any way. I got the damage values from HERE since... well, it's CS:GO's WIKIPEDIA. Everybody knows you can trust wikipedia! But obviously not in this case since it's wrong. http://counterstrike.wikia.com/wiki/Knife How to win a knife fight! What's the point in spending hundreds of dollars on a knife if you're just going to fail miserably in a one-on-one? Become elite and take on the WORLD! 0:00 - Intro 0:15 - Fire mode combinations 0:50 - Best way to win 1:07 - Range difference (Primary VS secondary) 1:43 - Tactics in a battle 2:37 - Damage values / armour / location 2:55 - Attacking from BEHIND! 3:13 - Money bonus and conclusion Music from HERE: https://soundcloud.com/darandall/they-are-alive Check out my channels: ● 3kliksphilip: https://www.youtube.com/3kliksphilip ● 2kliksphilip: https://www.youtube.com/2kliksphilip ● kliksphilip: https://www.youtube.com/kliksphilip Other information you might like: ● Website: http://3kliksphilip.com ● Twitter: https://twitter.com/3kliksphilip ● PC Specs: Intel 3770K, 16 GB RAM, Geforce 670 2 GB.

CS:GO - Zeus taser put to the test

02:01
0:00 - Damage VS distance (Demonstrations) 0:33 - Damage VS distance (Useful) 0:45 - Armour and direction facing 1:02 - Shooting through glass 1:24 - Noise 1:41 - Conclusion Also, the console command weapon_debug_spread_show 1 shows it to be about as accurate as the CT p2000 pistol. In other words, if you're running and jumping about the place then the shot may not land quite where you were aiming, but since it's such a close-range weapon it shouldn't pose too many problems. Thanks to dell_arness2 for the console command and iSHOKZ for asking about the accuracy in the first place. Is the Zeus an insta-kill weapon? NO! Is it good? NO! Is this surprising? NO! That being said, it's not even in competitive mode so it's not too important. But it's still something that's often brought up and should it ever be included in competitive, this guide should serve as a warning against buying it. It's for the man who has $16,000, or is against idiot players. Just to clarify, it doesn't appear to make a difference where you hit a player with the Zeus, it's all about range. CS:GO - Galil VS AK47 VS SG553

Making of de_sparity - Part 1: Planning

04:21
In the first part of a new series, I talk about how I made de_sparity, building on what I learned from previous projects and how I tackled this one accordingly. Check it out on the workshop HERE! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=269598277 de_sparity is currently in the top 12 maps for CS:GO on the Steam Workshop and I believe is the best map that I have made. It took me 3 months to make, though admittedly about 80% of that was in the last week or so :P It was developed for the Gamebanana / Cevo competition but didn't reach the final 10. CS:GO - Your view is a lie

04:58
I played on a laggy and dodgy server in competitive CSGO match-making and decided to compare what I saw with what the server thought happened, courtesy of the Source-TV recording. I don't quite know what I expected to find from this, I guess it's also a bit of a vent about dodgy servers, but I'm sure you'll find something of use in this video somewhere. The differences are normally small, but even small differences with aiming and timing can make a world of difference in a twitch-shooter like CSGO, where one bullet can change the COURSE OF THE FUTURE! Jump-shot myths BUSTED

03:25
Long story short, jump-shooting is as accurate as strafe-shooting. KQLY's shot - http://youtu.be/WJYwAOvcGUA?t=15s My first analysis video - http://youtu.be/D7CxSVZAkMU Response video - http://youtu.be/hvBnDjK-ypY There's been a bit of confusion about strafe-jumping and standard jump-shooting, with a lot of people seemingly believing that you get a mysterious bonus from counter-strafing once in the air. 10 reasons why CS:GO is better than its rivals

CS:GO - Crouching VS Walking

03:22
0:00 - Intro 0:09 - Movement speed 0:33 - Acceleration and deceleration 1:29 - Conclusions 1:47 - Character's profile 2:08 - Shooting accuracy 2:35 - Crouching... in a fight?! 2:56 - Conclusion The short answer is that all movement types have their role and it depends on the situation in question. Even with this, it may be worth occasionally using an 'inferior' one just to confuse enemies, bit like how occasionally camping in a really bad spot catches people off-guard. But don't do that too often. After all, what's the difference between a bad player and a good player who's going low?... Thanks to llVeXXll for letting me shoot her in the face. de_train shadow error and how to fix it

01:28
de_train is a difficult one since the light_environment and env_sun display different properties. All Valve has to do is to either set the env_sun to the light_environment's angle properties and all will be well. The reason I explain how to line it up with the sun in the sky is because a lot of skyboxes have a sun 'painted on' and you have to try and line up the light_environment and env_sun to that point in the sky. Consider this a Hammer tutorial ;) 0:06 - de_train lighting error 0:26 - How to line up lighting in your level 0:53 - The shadow and the icecream Thanks Valve :) http://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/2pqd24/counterstrike_global_offensive_update_for_121814/ Check out my channels: ● 3kliksphilip: https://www.youtube.com/3kliksphilip ● 2kliksphilip: https://www.youtube.com/2kliksphilip ● kliksphilip: https://www.youtube.com/kliksphilip Other information you might like: ● Website: http://3kliksphilip.com ● Twitter: https://twitter.com/3kliksphilip ● PC Specs: Intel 3770K, 16 GB RAM, Geforce 670 2 GB.

Top 10 GPU Tech-demos

08:10
UPDATE 13/2/16 Funny how nobody said that this video was biased at all until I published another video attacking Nvidia for unfair practices, now suddenly this video shows I'm an 'AMD FANBOY'. You do know it's possible to criticise one company without being a fanboy of another, right? I think I did a good job of attacking both in this video. 0:25 - #10 - AMD Ping Pong (2007) 0:58 - #9 - ATI Radeon's Ark (2000) 1:29 - #8 - Nvidia Numerous (2003-2006ish) 2:02 - #7 - AMD March of the Froblins (2008) 2:38 - #6 - Nvidia Human Head (2007 and 2013) 3:20 - #5 - ATI/AMD Ruby (2004-2007 (And possibly 2014!)) 3:54 - #4 - Nvidia 8800 demos (2006) 4:38 - #3 - ATI Toyshop (2005) 5:29 - #2 - ATI Pipe Dream (2002) 6:09 - #1 - Nvidia Supersonic Sled (2010) 7:05 - Worst tech-demo everrrrr. Yes, maybe it's showcasing something that's more useful for developers than it is for gamers, but why bother if it doesn't look good in practice? Show it in a situation where it's better than the old method! I've deliberately limited this to AMD and Nvidia ones. With hindsight, perhaps I should have included the 3DMark ones as well. Ah well. I recorded these with my Nvidia 670 and the AMD ones with my backup Radeon 6870. It's interesting just how many can be run using the other manufacturer's GPU. I was surprised that I couldn't run Radeon's Ark on my Nvidia one, and the Ping Pong one would run smoothly, only to freeze once every second or so. HK2207 ran and managed to look EVEN WORSE than it does on the AMD GPU! The horror. Now I've got to spend the rest of my day clearing hundreds of tech demos from my PC... When AMD (Formerly ATI) and Nvidia release a new graphics-cards, they tend to also create a tech-demo showcasing the new technology. These are among the best looking real-time 3D showcases that you can have on the PC, with graphics quality beyond anything that games can manage. This is because the tech-demos only have to work on the new GPU, and aren't restrained by lowest common denominators or consoles. Over the years there have been many. Most age as time goes on. But some have something more to them. Something that makes them just as intriguing now as they were when they were released. I try to give some of these demos the publicity they deserve in this video. I hope you enjoy it! CS:GO - Improve aim by benchmarking

02:43
The general idea of this video is that it may be better just to record how good you are, rather than to deliberately try to get better. Find a long-term, less stressful method of getting better and you'll beat those sprinting away from the starting line. 0:00 - Teamwork, map strategies etc 0:21 - Aim practice routines 0:41 - How it could be better NOT to have a fixed routine 1:20 - Find an aim map 1:27 - Making a daily test 1:54 - Recording your score every day 2:02 - Rules you must follow 2:12 - Conclusion and future training I've done this in video format, but some may find the instructions typed below easier to follow: It's better to record how good you are already than it is to start a rigorous training schedule straight away. Aim is one element of your ability that you can record and improve in your own time. To improve your accuracy... 1) Download a map like THIS ONE http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=213240871&searchtext= 2) Set yourself a challenge that you can attempt but not perfect. For me, I change the DELAY to 0.25, the DURATION to 0.5 and the number of targets to 50. 3) If it helps, hide your gun model by typing r_drawviewmodel 0 and hide the hud with cl_drawonlydeathnotices 1. 4) Do this ONCE A DAY just before closing CS:GO for the day. Record your results in an excel sheet for a number of weeks. (You're free to do mock-tests whenever you want, but be sure to decide on the PROPER test before you start it. No going back, no re-doing it). 5) Once you've done this for a while, decide whether you want to set a training schedule, or whether you're happy just doing small tasks to improve your performance gradually over time. I've based this approach on one that has worked for me in numerous areas of my life. I was going to start dieting and exercising, but instead I simply began recording my weight every week. After a while I noticed it changed without me doing anything, and that small things (like walking to the shops a few times a week) had a small but noticeable impact on my weight. I found this far less stressful (and therefore easier to maintain) than a proper routine. Hopefully this helps your CS:GO aim training as well! For teamwork and other parts of CS:GO you could use your matchmaking rank, which should hopefully increase as time goes on. Improving your aim will also help in this regard. Space Engine - The Universe Simulator

02:49
Download it below! http://en.spaceengine.org It's all made by one Russian developer who is trying to raise funds for future development. If you like the program, why not help him on his way? FUN FACT: If the 115,504 people who viewed this video donated £0.25 then it would be complete! (I'll update this as the view-count goes up just for fun) 0:00 - Summary 0:17 - 5 things I've learned from it 2:15 - How to use the program In short: it's the ultimate simulation of everything and it does a great job of it. I began looking into programs such as this one when making The Lonely Wanderer (See below) http://youtu.be/odRaZ2sO3x0 I decided to use Elite and X3 instead for that video but have since had many happy hours exploring the Universe. Making of de_sparity - Part 2: Creating Mid

07:38
Every map has to start somewhere and I thought that the middle part was the logical first step. I talk about how I planned, designed and improved on this area, the playtesting that took place on it and the inspiration that shaped it in the first place. DSR VS other Antialiasing settings

05:31
DSR is Nvidia's new technology that claims to fit 4K picture quality into an HD display. I put it to the test against the normal MSAA and SSAA versions and am surprised by the results. ALSO: The first analysis video I've uploaded since the 60 FPS roll-out and I happen to choose one thing that I can't record in 60 FPS. Unfortunately, I can't capture the end result of this but have to rely on a 4K image that's down-scaled in an external program which may make it look better than it does in-game. I can still explain what it is and the additional pros and cons of using it. It's nice to have the option of DSR and if it supports games that SSAA and other modes don't then it's certainly a welcome tool, but I've been playing Deus Ex and Operation Flashpoint (The originals) with SSAA and have had no problems. Because of this, I can only assume that in most games, DSR will cause more problems than it solves in most situations. What is the best screen for gaming?

03:27
I'm not going to recommend a single monitor- that would make it far too easy! Instead I highlight what you should look out for in this video, my experiences with my Benq xl2420t monitor and whether it gives you the edge in games. As promised, here's a link to a breakdown of all the other things you need to be aware of in games. http://3kliksphilip.com/tutorials/CSGO_tweaks.html Back when I got mine, the choices for high hz monitors was limited, but now everybody's launching 120 / 144 hz monitors, some at even higher resolutions than 1920x1080! Your choice obviously depends on your budget as well. How to take 4K resolution pictures in-game

02:28
WHAT YOU NEED: *Nvidia graphics card (For AMD - http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=366244) *A monitor you don't mind blowing up *A game you'd like to play. In this case it's CS:GO. WHY WOULD YOU DO SUCH A THING?!?! I don't know, because you're jealous of a friend with a 4K monitor? Perhaps you think it will improve the graphics in-game. Or MAYBE, you want to take 4K screenshots of your favourite games for all to enjoy =D POTENTIAL PROBLEMS: When you change to a high resolution and back to a low one again, the resolution menus may be off the side of the screen. If this happens, change the resolution normally (Right-click on desktop, change resolution) and it should reposition everything within the viewable screen area. De_Season Contact Point Analysis

04:11
I study the best spawn points to work out the earliest points of contact for de_season. If you get a good spawn, you know you're safe until these points. If you get a bad spawn, compensate. Since both viewpoints are matched, they reflect where both teams are at any point during the rush. Perhaps you can come up with creative grenades to disrupt the other team during this stage. 0:00 - Best spawn points + earliest times 0:42 - Middle (7 seconds) 1:22 - A from middle (10 seconds) 1:48 - Long A (13 seconds) 2:32 - Bombsite B (12 seconds) 3:11 - Long B (13 seconds) 3:39 - Conclusion :) Below are the best spawn point positions. CS:GO - How to Record and to Playback Demos

02:01
Want to get a video file to put on youtube? Read this description. But first... VIDEO CONTENTS 0:00 - How to record demos 0:17 - Viewing the demo 0:28 - Competitive games and their AWESOME recordings 0:48 - What makes these AWESOME? 0:59 - Remove all clutter from screen 1:08 - How to record the clips and get them into a video editor? 1:17 - Using demoui to browse through recordings Competitive matches are automatically recorded. Unfortunately, the rest has to be manually recorded from your point of view. A lot of you may want to know how to get things into a video format for youtube or things like that. You don't necessarily need this tutorial for that. Instead, use a program like... actually, just read the comments section, since everybody seems to have a personal favourite. I would say FRAPS but I'd get shot down because it's probably uncool, but it's served me well. Once you've done that, you need a program like Sony Vegas to put the video file in to, and to convert to a smaller file-size. It's not nice to try and upload a 4 GB+ video to youtube. I have a tutorial series on Vegas here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfwtcDG7LpxHF2SKDTRqEADrDc5azhb-y This video, in comparison, shows a sensible way of recording the games you play so that you can then REPLAY those games and record from that using a program like FRAPS. This is mainly down to size- recording a video using a console command is only about 10 MB per hour or what ever, compared with recording a video of it which can be 100,000 MB + per hour. So yeah, use this method to record all of your games so you don't miss a great clip, then replay the video and record with FRAPS, before putting that video file into something like Sony Vegas. Hope this clears up one of the internet's great mysteries, which I sadly assumed to be common knowledge. Sorry! It's just hours before the deadline and you uncover a bug. Is it in your best interest to fix it, or to carry on regardless? Welcome to the CRUNCH TIME, where logic is set aside and adrenalin kicks in. Who thought that mapping could be so hardcore? Bear in mind that I didn't leave it until the last minute to start on these things, but they're things I covered one last time in the final hours so I decided to cover them in this video. 0:00 - Intro 0:16 - Clipping 0:40 - Music when mapping 1:21 - Optimising 1:58 - Nodraw 2:20 - The final deadline and my bug-fixing fallacies 3:32 - The ice texture problem! 4:21 - Finalising radar, loading screen and ice 4:36 - How important friends are in this final stage 4:58 - Submission of the map 5:34 - Conclusion 5:53 - Last-minute testing footage Check it out on the workshop HERE! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=269598277 de_sparity is currently in the top 12 maps for CS:GO on the Steam Workshop and I believe is the best map that I have made. How to see things in 3D

01:18
ADDITIONAL TIPS * Sit further away from your monitor- you'll have to go less cross-eyed to get the 3D. * Go cross-eyed until a certain bit of the image lines up perfectly and then look at that. * Out of focus? Slowly ease how cross eyed you are whilst still staring at that bit of the picture. Unless you have fewer than two eyes or spend your entire life staring into the distance, you CAN see in 3D. And not just in real-life, but on the computer screen as well. These sorts of videos work on the same basis as those magic eye pictures you spent hours staring at as a child. I can now go cross-eyed whenever I like without any problem and have those books to thank for that. For those of you who are struggling, I have this cool little method to help you. If you've ever looked at chains and fences and accidentally gone cross-eyed, you'll know how weird it feels and how easily you managed it, along with how hard it was to stop the cross-eyed-ness. Now is the time to embrace that ability. I'll be getting some videos done shortly to showcase the 3D and to review it at the same time, but for now try out your newly found 3D eyes on the below video. http://youtu.be/Y8DZ8jiwoec Check out my channels: ● 3kliksphilip: https://www.youtube.com/3kliksphilip ● 2kliksphilip: https://www.youtube.com/2kliksphilip ● kliksphilip: https://www.youtube.com/kliksphilip Other information you might like: ● Website: http://3kliksphilip.com ● Twitter: https://twitter.com/3kliksphilip ● PC Specs: Intel 3770K, 16 GB RAM, Geforce 670 2 GB.
